None of his contact with the Russians was illegal. It doesn't seem anything he did with Turkey was illegal.
You haven't even read it have you? Or you'd know what you said is wrong. The resulting lying was illegal, and the FARA form violations are especially blatant-which he also lied about.
He's a general who at one time was a loyal patriot and soldier. He wanted to disavow the treason that Trump and his campaign engaged in and put country first.
So Flynn is going to get off without serving any more time. But if I were him, I'd be very worried about what would happen to me at the hands of those who I'd ratted-out. This applies to all those who have or will have turned on their criminal masters, to save their own hides. They would be safer in prison, than walking free, but not completely safe, even there.
It means the original charge was flimsy and everyone knows it including Mueller.
Go read the document. The charges arent flimsy at all. Flynn lied, blatently, and repeatedly to the FBI. He was taking money from Turkey while he was a national security officer. 530K. And he lied about that repeatedly. He lied about offering to drop sanctions on Russia. etc etc. These arent quibbling or debatable issues. He was guilty, and pled accordingly.
