The vast majority of heroin in the US is sourced from Central America, not Afghanistan.
Keep in mind,the poppies are not necessarily grown in the same place as the places where they turn the raw opium into heroin.
IN order to keep the ENTIRE US supplied in dope so consistently, they need 100s of 1000s of acres of poppies. It takes roughly 5-8 acres in poppy plants to produce enough raw opium needed for heroin, to keep 1 single user supplied daily!!!

Now if the Chinese govt wants to execute its own people for possessing and/or selling a substance its politicians disapprove of, that is on them.
I find it ironic Trump is concerned about the well being and drug use of others while he bombs the crap out of other countries and defends the poppy trade in Afghanistan. He has no moral authority to intervene, nor does the govt rule book allow for it.

Trump is smooching up to law enforcement, they are the ones who ultimately benefit from these medieval drug laws.
Without drug crime and drug related crime, many police would be out of work in the US.
