No one has the right to determine what is "legal" with regard to intoxicating substances. Every person on the planet has self-ownership, and only the individual determines what they can and cannot put into their own bodies.
Cool, so bring it in...let people kill themselves....

You good with that?
You're going to get about as much from this debate as you will debating an evangelical about the existence of God. Not sure why you bother.
But as an aside, a death penalty for selling drugs is cruel and unusual. Some prison time is in order, but nothing along the lines of the death penalty...

Sometimes you have to show the stupidity, I'm good with that.

If these drugs knowingly kill people yearly...is it still cruel and unusual?

Those drugs kill people when misused (overdosed). Granted, it's easier to OD on fentanyl than other drugs, my point is clear enough. When the drug dealer sells the drugs he doesn't know this action will lead to a death nor is it his intent. This is two steps removed from someone who shoots his wife (as an example) who has both intent (he wanted her dead) and felt his action would lead to her death (shooting).
So yes, it's cruel and unusual. I'd also add I'm against the death penalty in all cases, but at least I can see why for a murder it makes sense.
And we know how well that worked. Thanks to Nancy - we've all been peeing in a cup for decades.

Of course Trump has no moral authority to weigh in on it all especially while waging wars that are causing death and destruction on a global scale.
But he has no problem with American dealers, huh?
You're right that Trump has no moral authority, but unfortunately, what's worse is that as he's progressing, America will generally have no moral authority any longer.
Nope. Engaging in voluntary exchange is a natural right. No one owns your body but yourself.
The only way prostitution could be a crime if there was physical abuse, non-consensual acts, or fraud.

It's paid for, any what "natural right"?
Everyone has the natural right to life. No one has the right to harm another person unless it was done in self-defense.

LOL.....so, you have no clue what poaching is.....
The government determines what poaching means. If an animal is on private property, that property owner has the absolute right to either kill that animal or allow others to kill it.
Cool, so bring it in...let people kill themselves....

Like I said, everyone owns themselves. If someone wants to destroy their body with drugs, that's their choice--as long as no one else is forced to pay for the consequences.
