True but my point was aimed at the many climate change deniers that use examples of the distant past to say that warming will do no harm...Today's climate is warming rapidly as I type.

In Noah's time the world was destroyed by water in our time it will be fire which explains the melt climate change.Mother Nature is about to blow making Mt.St. Helen look like child's play...

Reminds me of environmental weenies saying the sky is falling, without understanding that ice expands and contracts over the entire time earth has been in existence.
If you look at the various ice ages for example, you will see how much of the land mass that is currently free of ice, was once covered in it. Over hundreds of millions of years the earth has had multiple cooling and warming periods, well before man ever existed.
The earth is currently in an interglacial period which has nothing to do with so called MMGW;
To think man has control over the environment is both hubris and ignorance. The irony of course is that the left feels that way about the right, when they themselves are the guilty party.

So your argument is that at one time the world had more ice and that no matter how much CO2 we place in the atmosphere man has no control. You really shouldn’t be tossing around the word ignorance.
How did NOAA, NASA and all the other scientific organizations miss the fact that the current warming is due to an interglacial period. You should send them one of your research papers.
