There was a poll here in C-D on who the most dishonest person in the News Media was and I voted for Tucker Carlson for this reason.
He has spent the last 2 years riding the Gravy err Trump train all the way to the bank while lying to his viewers about how he Really feels concerning Trump. I would rather someone be all in and crazy for a candidate then to miss lead millions and run propaganda for a guy he doesn't even think is a good President.
I doubt he will last long if he keeps this up as Fox is all in on Trump.
Tucker probably doesn't care. He'll just bounce to another network when his contract is up. His way in at another network will be how he really feels. There are a ton of things to talk about after this Presidential debacle. He can rant on about all the lies this President blatantly told and how he believed in him and was duped. The victim role.
Ahh, natural, i.e. the kind you can interpret yourself to say what you want it to. Nice!
Ahh, natural, i.e. the kind that exist by virtue of being born and cannot be infringed upon in any way. They are property rights, non-aggression, and freedom of association. Nice!
Trump doesn't run the house or Senate.......Speaker Ryan and Mitch McConnell won't build the wall , defund planned parenthood or repeal obamare. Mccain made sure of that before he died and Trump doesn't have the votes.
Not only Trump has to fight democrats on those issues but members of his own party. Ryan is the worst of the bunch.
I thought Tucker understood separation of powers. Since he ran as a Republican candidate the GOP establishment was against him. IF Tucker can show the President how to do all of things by over-passing Congress and by EO then tell us how.
You think if those bills came to his desk, he would veto them?
Your post gets RIGHT to the point of the quoted text in the OP. Trump does not understand the legislative process, and he has not surrounded himself with people who do.
Either he made promises that he KNEW he couldn't keep, or he made promises based on a glaring lack of competency needed for the job. When you make a promise, you should have a realistic plan to see it through. Whether it is due to pure dishonesty, pure ignorance, or a combo of the two, he did not deliver.
Tucker Carlson unloads on the Great Pumpkin. At least there's a LITTLE honesty from FOX News:
"Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson set straight any misinformation concerning his views on President Trump: “I don’t think he’s capable,” he said during an interview on Tuesday. His chief promises were that he would build the wall, defund Planned Parenthood and repeal Obamacare, and he hasn’t done any of those things" Carlson said, adding that those goals were probably lost causes....
...Trump, he said, doesn’t understand the system, and his own agencies don’t support him. “He knows very little about the legislative process, hasn’t learned anything, hasn’t surrounded himself with people that can get it done, hasn’t done all the things you need to do, so it’s mostly his fault that he hasn’t achieved those things,” he added...."
I guess you don't watch Tucker Carlson often. I personally like him because he isn't a simple lap dog and will stand up for what he believes in. He went after Trump back when Trump bombed Syria. And I agree with him. I also like Fareed Zakaria on CNN, because he too has his head on straight and isn't some mindless tool for the left. We need more journalists like these two who don't have an agenda, and also make commentary on things the average person can relate to.
