Finally broke his silence. His comments support other insider accounts of Trump’s authoritarian view of the Presidency and his near total disrespect for our Constitution. If Kelly and Mattis leave and are replaced by political lap dogs we’re in for a wild ride in American politics.
I am afraid you are correct. It may get worse before we can attempt to heal and get back to being the America that makes most Americans proud.

Pulling out of TPP was AWESOME!
Telling Iran to go pound sand was the American way, when you pay them to be your friend.
Calling someone incompetent and unfit for office due to their actions is not the same as calling someone "dumb" and "lazy" because they dared to criticize you.
I guess I shouldn't expect anyone who would vote for this embarrassment to be able to handle that level of sophistication in language, though.

I used to wonder how the hell this man got elected president. Every thread like this explains it a little more and is one more data point in favor of his re-election in 2 years.
I'm commenting on a thread where were are discussing a former Secretary of State's claim that the current President is unable to distinguish illegal from legal acts and the President using official government communications to personally attack said Secretary of State - in other words, things of material public interest.
What are you doing on this topic other than littering the forum with tired youtube videos?
To the bolded: Astonishing that we read the bolded and don't blink, nor do we find it the above the fold headline in all newspapers. But if we pause and take time to think about it, this one fact in "normal" times would be heading to a blockbuster historical book or documentary, almost by and in of itself. Holy Smokes, I really am understanding that Chinese curse of, "May you live in interesting times".
