Its all about the economic cycle that equity markets are good at front running.
Is that so?

It was their money. Meanwhile, back at the ranch...Trump plays nice with Muslims that are far less modern, killed a lot more of us and are clearly out of control as of late.

I'll never understand why the right embraces the Saudis while poo-pooing any chance of bringing Iran back into the world. Obama derangement syndrome?

It was their cash. None of you on the right seem to care about that or get it. IT WAS THEIR MONEY that we've been holding since the late 1970s. Tied up in the international court system after the hostage situation. It was not improper.

As an amateur computer programmer, I have had to deal with decision trees, flow charts and other tools of logic and have come to the conclusion that conservative logic is beyond diagraming. Its one of those cases where something is true only if its false.

"Was he responsible for the uptick?"

Which "he" are you talking about.

Just this week Obama claimed HE is responsibly to today's booming economy therefore he should ALSO be responsible when things go south!

I'm guessing the op doesn't blame republicans and gwb for the worst recession and stock market in generations either, not to mention a doubling of the national debt while that was going on.

But if a democrat did it....

Your boy tRump has been bragging almost daily for the past 23 months about "his stock market." He's also bloviated endlessly about his latest round of "tax cuts/trickle-down" and said, "Trade wars are good and easy to win."

Say hello to the tRump recession.

Obama never claimed to be responsible for the stock market.

Trump proudly claimed the stock market was a product of him.

He did it -- nobody else.

If he had never boasted about how he was so good for it -- then folks wouldn't have loved to blame him for the down slide.

You can't claim just the good stuff -- lol.
