CNN just did a small blurb on this. It's a sad commentary, but I have to admit that my first reaction was to laugh and admire the creativity re naming the rating (going from the previous max (4?...or was it 5?) to 'bottomless') .
What's even sadder is that people believe the lies. It's an embarrassment and makes American's look like mindless rubes on the world stage. The thing about eroding trust through continuous lies is that sooner or later even the rubes wake up and don't trust a word that comes out of your mouth anymore. The fact that it's taking some people longer to see the truth is disturbing. Lies are insidious in any relationship and should not be tolerated in the highest office in the world.
