Damn it. The crazy is out of control. I'm not kidding.

I know. I was stunned myself.

And after all the chanting too.

Sean Hannity, anyone???
Or maybe pardon Flynn and give him the job...

And Trump's first statement concerning Mattis leaving was another lie. Mattis isn't "retiring", he's resigning in protest. Huge difference.

resigning in protest.
uh huh...so why is he taking 3 months before he leaves? Must be some major "outrage" to delay so long huh?

It is the only person who has left the White House that Trump met with face to face
Maybe he didn't realize he was going to tender the resignation--
Trump is too lame to realize why what Mattis did is really a slap in the face of the bon homie regard Trump showered Mattis with when he took the Sec of Defense post
Trump likely thought he could jolly him along and get what he wanted out of him--
The only thing he really got that Mattis likely didn't want to do was move troops to the border at Thanksgiving
And he couldn't say no w/o resigning--guess he hoped Trump would be too busy with Mueller and the economy

Comey heard on the news on tv in the airport I believe and Trump'''s gofer Keith Schiller left the note on Comey's office desk
Tillerson got the ax from Kelly while he/Rex was using the toilet
Omarosa got grilled by. Kelly for over an hour before she was fired
Trump has not had the guts to meet any of them face to face
Even the ones like Zinke or Pruitt that he wasn't really "at odds" with
Don't know about Prebus or Scaramouche specifically
But you know he didn't meet with Sessions face to face...

I'm more or less independent in my political views, but I never gave Trump a chance. I never liked Trump BEFORE he ran for office. I hated him BEFORE the fact.

Like the late Dennis Green said... "They are who we thought they were!"
And let's not forget the man is over 70
We know elderly people are the least likely to welcome change
And Trump is certainly not that type of person--
He is not intellectually curious---he doesn't like new experiences--
He always stays at known places like his own hotels when he travels
He is a creature of habit--not just the dark lagoon...

So what he was is what he was bringing to the table when he ran for POTUS
The fact that voters either didn't care what his history showed him to be or wanted to believe the hype that what he was would be a new, improved methods of running the presidency--
Well
Guess we are seeing what a full-blown manic episode can mean for American government

Know anyone who is going to be impacted by government shutdown?

Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis resigned, citing differences with Trump over "malign actors" and allies.

At the urging of Rush Limbaugh, Trump pushed for a government shutdown.

Trump administration continued efforts to cut 775,000 off of food stamps.

Quite the day: Confrontation, incompetence, and cruelty.

But today is a fresh start, another chance.
