The policy is going to vary by site and whether something is actually deleted or not depends. For example there may even be revisions stored if you edit a post/tweet/whatever and "deleting" it may only hide it from public view. Most forum software has feature called soft delete in which case the post is only viewable to moderators, it's best practice because it's left for reference if it's needed.

The primary reasons forums do not allow you to delete or limit edit times is because removing that content can completely destroy the context of a topic especially if it's the first post.

Wow. I wish they had not mentioned it though, until the end of his presidency. It might affect his future tweets yet that seems doubtful. He has a mental illness so not sure you can control that too well unless they get him on medication

Anything electronic remains in cyberspace and can be found somehow using the latest technology. I'm no computer whiz, but that's my belief that nothing is erased forever. It's stored somewhere. Just gotta know how and where to find it.

Many companies, Fox included, hire firms to download every single copy of every post and response for anyone who they are related to. They save it forever. Just in case.

You better believes lots of others do the same, from folks like you and I taking screen shots to Media Matters (they watch so you don't have to - if their slogan), etc.

Yes, every tweet exists in bulk.

What about texts? The FBI wiped 19000 texts from the phones of disgraced, fired FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. Did they use Bleach Bit like Hillary did to erase evidence? Obstruction of justice!

I knew Hannity was silly, but geez...come on.

It doesn't really matter what he does. Tweets are forever. I know two people personally who started saving his tweets and Trump's as soon as it came out they shared a lawyer.

Bu, hey - It keeps him busy and as long as he's there, he isn't telling anymore lies and causing trouble.

Not to worry. They weren't lost after all.

I knew Hannity was a fraud since 2004 after the failure of the Iraq war and the economic failure under the Bush leadership. I realized he was just a cheerleader for the Republican party and nothing more. That's when I started questioning the whole Republican establishment and quickly realized they were all frauds.
