Not 100% sure of your intent there...but I think I got it.

Their intent was to destabilize our trust in our government and our institutions. I think that was a higher goal then getting Trump or Clinton in. Although they did decide to push for Clinton near the end of 2016.

And no, I didn't want to see the Russians influence Americans to divide us, or to elect Trump. Why do you?

If Russia wants to take out ads on Facebook or Google, so what? Last I checked it was the internet, and is open to anyone. Much adieu over nothing.
