So we need a third party. I'm an independent voter. We need an independent party.

Are you saying that Trump has a better plan? Can you provide details on that?

You do understand... No involvement in the people healthcare is constitutional.... Without the individual mandate TAX.

It is the TAX that made it constitutional. Without the taxing portion, the federal government has no authorization under the constitution.... It is a 10th amendment issue.

It would have to have a tax mandate to be constitutional.

Need an American Unity party. Need both border security and healthcare. Need a positive message that emphasizes unity for this country over petty divisions and identity politics.

Truly Amazing. Texas is going to turn blue sooner than I thought....

So, this is ALL you got out of the article?

Jun 15, 2017 - While Legislature passed "sanctuary" bill, E-Verify enforcement fell short. Though Texas has required state agencies and their contractors to verify the employment eligibility of their workers since 2014,"

And many on the left call US UNeducated depolorables!

Depolarables - always negative. I like that.

If heath care goes back to the way it was before Obamacare, it will be a win for many Americans.

At least as far as premiums and deductibles are concerned.

Mine skyrocketed after Obamacare was passed.

It may be a tough pill to swallow, that you simply cannot expect insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions, and not raise premiums and deductibles for everyone.

They need to refund everyone that got stuck paying a fine the last 4 years. That turn coat Roberts really must have been paid off to pass that crap.

Not sure if that's sarcasm. I hope it is. It was an extremely problematic comment. The vast majority of Trump supporters are not "deplorable." It's comments such as this that increase divisions in our country. I understand it's frustrating when the other side just does not see reason, such as the Republicans vis-a-vis healthcare. It's tempting to demonize your political opponents, call them deplorables, etc. Ultimately, it does nothing good. Fundamentally, I think we have to recognize that the other side is largely well-intentioned, even if they're wrong (or you merely think they're wrong). As long as they're well-intentioned and genuinely want what's best for America, there's room to find common ground.
