Check this link then. They mock Miss Cambodia and Miss Vietnam for not speaking English. Whether or not you think it is racist, is not appropriate comments from a a Miss Universe and should knock all 3 out of the running.
Those are nationalism, not race. If someone mocks Melania, who is from another country, for not speaking english are they a racist? If so, there are many leftist racist here.
Miss USA (Nebraska) makes offensive race-related remarks on a social media video before Sunday's Miss Universe Pageant.
She should know better.
She has since apologized (damage control) but I'd like to think she has NO CHANCE winning now.
Most of the world is not going through this culture war conflict we are going through as a nation. Most of the world won't be outraged by such comment. Move on son.

Gee, I wonder how many languages Miss USA speaks. This is akin to people making fun of one's accent when speaking English (Jimmy Kimmel, Sunny Hostin, Chelsea Handler, et. al.). It's pretty ignorant.
So when Miss USA carps about those contestants who don't speak English, she might want to remember that she's taking part in an international cattle call...er, competition. When she carps about those she's encountered who speak English with an accent, she might want to marvel at the fact that THEY have the ability to communicate in another language (or maybe FIVE), in addition to their native language.
Beyond that, even without this kerfuffle, Miss USA likely had little chance of winning the title anyway; they seldom do. It's been years since a contestant from the US last took home the crown, and had been about 15 years before that.

The only press pushing this issue seems to be your own. Stop making it about the Cambodian. It ain't.
Make up your mind. Is it or is it not fuss worthy?
