I've said it all along that if he lost the election in Wisconsin, he'd either become a Fox News commentator bashing public sector employees, or get appointed to Trump's cabinet, which is looking like a possibility.

Quote:
Outgoing Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has emerged as a potential contender for the U.S. Interior secretary’s job as Ryan Zinke prepares to step down at the end of the year, Bloomberg Business News reported Saturday.

The role has typically been filled by Western politicians with experience in federal land management. But Bloomberg included Walker among a list of potential candidates to fill the soon-to-be-vacant post in President Donald Trump's administration.
What are your thoughts? Do you think he'll accept it?

Well, I mean he IS looking for work. Personally, I wouldn't hire him for dogcatcher so that likely makes him a good fit in the Trump Administration.

The horror show never ends. We just can't get rid of this guy. He was at odds with the DNR in WI - he should be a great lapdog Secretary of Interior.

Serious question - how much damage can he do in two years?

If he gets the position all it will do is reinforce Trump's image as a clueless moron.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Walker's out of work and a college flunk-out. His prospects arren't all that rosy.

Besides, he's just another squirming weasel who'd fit right in with the rest of tRump's gang of thieves.

A perfect fit.

I agree but likely not for the same reasons you do...
Walker has been a big (in his mind) frog in a small pond--
A gerrymandered pond at that

Put him in the DC fish bowl where he will have really a national presence and pressure which is way heavier and more intrusive than what he faced as govenor and he will crack like Humpty Dumpty...
He is a wuss really and he will be putting his foot in it 24/7

So go ahead Trump
Put another immoral, uber-partisan and really no supporter of democracy itself GOP hack in full view of the public
Quickest way to kill a career--work for Trump...

What else is new? Trump gets rid of one weasel and replaces him with another.

He's a sleazy slime ball who thinks the GOP is entitled to keep power despite the voters saying no. He's a perfect fit for Trumpland
