Not sure it's challengeable unless it is enacted and someone tries to enforce it.

I can't see any SCOTUS, including this one, upholding a law like that.

Those legislatures must not have an independent legislative counsel to tell them - you can't do that.

It has more to do with the Christian Right and the fact that evangelicals believe that Israel is God's chosen nation and is where Jesus Christ will soon return. David Barton (Google him) has tremendous influence over the curriculum in Texas public schools.

This is the kind of Republican that I have no use for. This violates people's Constitutional rights, and has now cost this lady, who has done nothing wrong, her job. If she wants to boycott products from Israel, what fricken business is that of the U.S. government? It's NOT their damn business!
That law is about a government agency not an individual so I don't understand why they need this. Either way Abbott over stepped.

It is not about her religion or her first amendment. It is about her terrorist ties to Hamas and her aggression toward Israel and Jews.

It is not about religion, it is about a nation Texas trades with. You don't like the nation we trade with go to another state and work, or find something else to do in Pflugerville.

No innocence until proven guilty here? Due process?
