See all those big crashes in the Dow, beginning in February?

Those were all caused by Nancy Pelosi. Every ... single ... one. Even the ones in February - 9 months before anybody even knew she would be speaker of the House again.
Won't change the fact that when democrats last controlled the House, Senate and Presidency we had record deficits and super high unemployment (See post 65) or that with Republicans controlling the House, Senate, and Presidency we have the lowest unemployment in 35 years and less than half the deficit those Democrats ran.

It's hilarious you keep avoiding the implications of your own claim. Once again ...

If it does happen again, you will have no choice but to blame the republicans for it, because they control 2/3 of the power. You yourself said that the party with 2/3 of the power controls the economy, as I pointed out here.

In 2006, democrats only had control of 2/3 of the government: Both houses of congress. Repubs had the White House.

Using your own reasoning, it would stand that any party that has 2/3 control of the government is responsible for the crash.

Therefore, using your own reasoning, if there is a crash in 2018 republicans will be responsible for it because they control 2/3 of the government.

If you have any analytical skills, you should be able to analyze why all Democrat rule yielded highest deficits in history and Global Financial Crisis and all Republican rule (last 2 years) led to the lowest unemployment i 35 years.

Did you vote that the Speaker of the House has nothing to do with the Federal Budget?....I think you did

We're not crashing the US and world economy in 2018, that's obvious with the lowest unemployment in 35 years....what are you even talking about

Speaking of analytical skills, guess which direction the federal budget deficit was headed until the last two years? (hint: it's symbolized with a down arrow)

And guess which direction it's headed now? (hint: it's symbolized with an up arrow)

BTW, the only two presidents post-WWII to have balanced budgets or budget surpluses were democrats. And the first of those two had a democratic majority in both houses.

This still remains the most mind boggling thread today. No one who understands economics believes this nonsense at all, and even most who dont understand economics cant twist their common sense into believing it. Folks should be ashamed to even try this nonsense, because virtually no one is buying it.

Bull run's rarely run more than 10 years, so it's no surprise that a recession is around the corner. To blame it on a politics is a huge stretch. Investors respond to actual numbers that exist in real time...they don't respond to vague hypothetical's made by right-wing ideologists.
