Actually all of the above means Flynn should serve jail time and does NOT deserve leniency. Why? Flynn knows better. As a lifelong military vet his internal compass should have told him that as a National Security Advisor it is a direct conflict of national interest to act as a foreign agent to Turkey. This is especially true because Russia has been working hard trying to woo Turkey away from NATO.
Flynn was, in a small way, indirectly working to undermine NATO. Let that sink in.
Trump can claim some ignorance for what he's done because he's never held public office. You can't say that for Flynn.

I'm not going to second guess the Special Prosecutor for his plea deal strategy, and I'm certainly not going to call his competency or integrity into question because of it. We don't have all the facts to make such a judgment.
Flynn s crimes against America are motivated by spite. He was fired by Obama and he was out to get revenge and take America for all he AND HIS SON could get.

Yes. Treason and aggravated by the fact was in the highest ranks of the military hierarchy. He took an oath to defend the Constitution and decided instead to line his pockets with cash. This whole rotten cadre of Trump associates including the bobble head supporters in Congress have turned their backs on our sacred democracy and spit in the face of every American soldier who fought and died for this country.

so if you don't have all the facts and Mueller hasn't presented it in court then why would you go out of a limb and pass judgment of Flynn? you can't have it both ways. if Flynn dealing with Turkey which was before he joined the Trump campaign is "treason" (which Mueller's prosecution denied today on court) then what crime did Flynn commit?
