Remember how Obama was a Guest on a Late-night talk show all the time while he was President? It seem like every other week he would be on either The Tonight Show, Late Show, Kimmel and The Daily Show or some other Late-night talk show. for 8 whole years. He made a fool of himself a few times slow-jamming with Fallon. He also made numerous appearances on The View and Ellen while President which I know it's not a Late-night show.
Trump has been President for almost two years and he has not gone any Late-night talk show at all. and I glad. I know some will argue it because they don't want him to be a guest on their show ro that Trump would never accept a offer the be a guest because they criticise and make fun of him all the tim. That might be partially true. But even though, I glad he hasn't. He has not been a guest on any Daytime talk show like that either while PResident
I don't have a problem with a President going on these kind of shows before they are in office and after they leave office, But I think they should avoid them while in office.
George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, etc,. did not go on any Late-night talk show while they were president and didn't go on anything Daytime talk show either. George H.W. Bush had only made one appearance on a Late-night talk show in his 94 years of life and it was long after the left office.
I think every Late Night Show would do anything, even sleep with Trump, to get him on their show.
No man brings in more viewers than President Trump.
Steven Colbert's entire show is about President Trump, and I bet he'd do anything to get him on the show.
Individual 1 will not do a late night or daytime shows because most of the host express their dislike for him almost every week. He isn't getting invited. The same way most athletic teams refuse to go to the White House while Trump occupies it. The American public and late night hosts know Individual 1 doesn't have a sense of humor. He is not a funny or fun guy. No one waits to see his stone facial expression and waving hands while on a show. He should stick with Howard Stern. The night shows target audience isn't Individual 1's supporters anyway. It's simple.
Anyway, I enjoy watching Mrs. Obama on Jimmy Fallon last night. She has a good sense of humor.
His role in "Ghosts Can't Do It" even won him a coveted Razzie, for worst supporting actor. I wonder if he keeps that on his mantle next to his fake TIME covers.
Me thinks the jealousy runs pretty deep here. Trump can't even show his face in public, and Obama is still loved after being gone for almost two years. I can understand how that must hurt.
If you're saying Trump is jealous of Obama (rather than supporters being jealous of supporters), I agree.
I think that has been true since 'day one' when he trotted Spicer out there to make the preposterous assertion that his inaugural crowd was larger.
When Obama did things like that, it showed me he was human and able to laugh at himself. He was the first to say that, even though he was President of the United States, his daughters would still come to him and say something that would put him back into reality.
Obama has a great sense of humor, something Trump is totally lacking. Obama saw the big picture and let stuff roll off of his back, Trump is a spoiled 4 year old, who holds his breath when he doesn't get his way. When the Obamas were in the WH, it was a happy, functioning place. Now, it is like a morgue.
As for him acting "un Presidential" , Obama was VERY Presidential when needed, and just a regular guy when he could relax. That is one of the things I really like about him, and would love to just sit and have a brew with Obama, and talk about life.
Obama is a real, down to earth person who isn't afraid to show his human side. How anyone can not like ths guy is beyond me.
Trump's sense of humor is SEVERELY lacking, but I wouldn't say it is COMPLETELY non-existent. He did let Jimmy Fallon muss up his hair, and Fallon caught quite a bit of flack for that because some people felt it helped humanize Trump before the election.
Trump also does imitations, which some people think are hilarious, but others hate because they don't want those targets made fun of.
I have no idea why anyone would care if a President goes on late night television.
Yeah... puzzled about that, too. Who cares what TV shows here in the US the POTUS goes on?
