As a guy who can't stand politicians and wanted to see a businessman running things since Perot back in 1992, I had no choice but to vote for him. And he's gotten some good things done despite relentless media attacks and the "RESIST" movement started the day after he was elected by the sore losers.

But he's done. Trump isn't going to be around in 2020 to run again. There are too many of his staff in trouble or in prison. Too many scandals, too much shady behavior. Trump's Foundation was just shut down for Pete's sake and you can't blame the media for that one. Chris Matthews predicted Trump will resign within a few weeks and that prediction might just happen.

I'm throwing in the towel. Give me Mark Cuban next time around, and I don't care which party he runs under. Only thing is, Cuban is too smart to give up the life he has to be president. So it will probably be back to the usual assortment of Crooked Clintons and Low Energy Jebs the next time around. This country deserves what it gets.

Who are you and what have you done to BeerGeek40?

Same guy, and I still do not regret my vote for Trump in '16. I would have voted for a paper bag against Hillary if need be. But he's had two years and I've seen enough. Hopefully his no-open-borders policy will be carried on by the next candidate, whoever that might turn out to be, because I still give Trump an A+ in that area.

Makes no difference whether you believed the constant smear campaign against Clinton, or whether you voted for Trump because you liked his nutball ideas, it is clear he can't do the job.

How long it will take for him to realize that remains to be seen.

Nonsense...Both Marco Rubio and Kasich were heavily outpolling Hillary. Not just in national polls, but Kasich even had Connecticut and New Jersey in play in polls.

Hillary was the 2nd least favorable Presidential Candidate in the history of polling which dates back to the 1940s...only Trump was lower.

>>> Which is why I became a supporter of his after initially voting for him only because he was literally the only choice we had. And looking at how the deep state has targeted him and the MSM and DC political apparatus has villified him and worked so hard to undermine him and anyone associated with him. While The Clintons , the Bushes and Obama had the same organizations covering up for them and blacking out anything they were guilty of. Things far far worse than anything Trump has ever done.
So it comes down to Trump's an enemy of those who are OUR enemies and the best POTUS we've had in decades. Not a great POTUS, just the best.

This isn’t saying much, because paper bags don’t brag about sexual assault, use campaign funds to pay porn stars, publicly invite other countries to hack citizens of this country, run fraudulent universities, stuff contractors, use charities as personal piggy banks, etc.

Heck, a paper bag might’ve won the popular vote by a landslide. Trump, on the other hand, had to settle for winning a few swing states that still have large swaths of people who would vote for anyone tough on Democrats and Mexicans. They sold their souls for empty promises of a rejuvenated Rust/Coal Belt and a big, beautiful, free wall.

I’m glad some a Trump voters have a breaking point, but saddened that the last straw came after a few hundred bales of straw.

Yeah, throwing his own intelligence community under the bus while kissing a murderous dictator's butt on international TV in Helsinki was just a stunning show of support for America and its government, right?

I would vote for Cuban too and I am a dem and a liberal. He seems to have a good head and he’s articulate and classy, the opposite of this orange scab-picker that we have currently.
