From allies, to Congress, to virtually every national security analyst there is near universal agreement that this is a bad move that benefits Russia the most and hurts our national interests. With everything done by Trump that helps Russia, we now must wonder what is really going on here? What are Trump's real motivations? Is he a traitor?
He ran on winding down Iraq and escalating Afghanistan, which he did. I didn't vote for him though. US foreign policy typically is what it is and ran by CFR regardless of who controls the White House.
He pulled troops out of Iraq, but then two years later sent them in again. He was supposed to end the war in Afghanistan, but leaving office he was still in Afghanistan and Guantanamo is still open. Obama dropped 3 bombs an hour during his presidency, all in Muslim majority countries, Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Afghanistan, Yemen, Pakistan. Mending ties in the middle east? Fail.

He promised to escalate Afghanistan, which he did. I don't recall him promising both escalation, and a pull-out. Kind a contradiction if you asked me.

Republicans insisted he was soft on terror. Which was it?
Anyway, it doesnt have a whole lot to do with the topic, does it?

It’s more interesting that EVERYONE in the media is screaming to the top of the hills that we need to stay.
Or that EVERY significant political leader or activist or lobbyist agrees?
Haven’t we done enough war in Syria? Haven’t we failed.
So I am confused. Yesterday Trump sent out a video declaring victory over ISIS in Syria. This morning he tweets that he is leaving and Syria is "mad" because they will have to fight ISIS without him.
Trump's "have it your way" approach to messaging where he insanely believes we the citizens of the world do not view or hear his contradictory words and thoughts is becoming dangerous. His recklessness and irresponsibility is creating harm.
After doing my research and hearing the voices of the other side of the issue, I must admit my position in support of this withdrawal was incorrect. This truly looks like a horrific mistake on the part of the president. He acted impulsively without the advice and consent of any of his advisers it would appear. He certainly does not seem up to the heavy responsibility of the presidency at least, and anyone looking at this has to questions his motives given the broad evidence of connections with Russia that has emerged over the past two years.
