I know the answer, as does everyone who follows news, or even the headlines. If you do not wish to inform yourself, it is your problem, nor mine. I am not here to spoon-feed common knowledge to ignorant people who are too lazy to educate themselves.

This is not true. The US used the Kurds and dropped them when the reality that it’s impossible to save them came about.

Trump is the one to say it, blame the people who manipulated them in the first place.

If you think using separatist groups then betraying them is new to the US then you are delusional.

So Obama was right in withdrawing all troops from Iraq?

Finally, the Trump supporters get it right !

Lets just say for the sake of argument you are 100% correct. If it was wrong back then, why engage in the same behavior?

Needless to say there was a wide chasm from how the Republicans couldn't work with Obama (like they did with Bill Clinton), because he was a rigid ideologue, and refused to moderate his leftist agenda.

Today, your ilk proudly announce they are part of the resistance, and instantly knee-jerk against anything related to Trump.
Heck that fool Michael Moore tweeted out how he was resisting the EAS just because it had the term president in it.
Needless to say it had nothing to do with Trump, but since he was the current president, Moore was "resisting".

But these are the type of unhinged kooks you have in the Democrat party these days.

Trump made the right decision to quit Syrian conflict
Despite the criticism, there is a strong argument that the US president has done the right thing by withdrawing his forces from Syria

Trump made the right decision to quit Syrian conflict - Asia Times

Turkey has pulled back on its decision to invade. The Kurds are in negotiation to have the Syrian army man the borders with Turkey and Iraq.

"During the last meetings between Damascus representatives and the Kurds from al-Hasaka, the Kurds no longer requested a federation but centralised governorship. This means the differences are not significant and can be solved, particularly with the US withdrawal & Turkish threat."

Actually we were not at war with Iraq. At the time they had a new pro-US government, and the fighting was over. We left, and rest is history.

The Republican hypocrisy on this is astounding.

Nothing new.
