Going to copy the same reply I had earlier.

You can't make it up. After running our country into 20 trillion of debt (with plenty of help from the so called conservative party), the liberals are now concerned about the cost of something. That my friends is a joke. 2 billion dollars a day is what we borrow, so Trump's $5 billion request for border security money is NOTHING in the grand scheme.

You people are fooling nobody.

Is “straw man” an over used term on this forum mostly by people who don’t even understand what it means?

A reminder to folks arguing over how "effective" this is or is not. Right now we have more illegals leaving this country then are coming in.

Thats how stupid this wall is. This problem is getting better, and has been for some time.

And....what's to say that in 15 years, 25 years, 50 years..... the problem won't get worse and we'll have many more coming in than going out. Don't just think "today"...

Not true. Stop watching censored news. Trump has agreed to do what the Border Patrol wants and has been doing:

A absolutely reasonable argument. Heres the problem with it-in 15 years the wall is going to be a laughable antique. With large maintenance costs, and would need to be rebuilt with new technology. Build something now that addresses real current problems.

Illegal immigration is a real issue, but we should address it just as Pelosi indicated. With real solutions that work, and address a real problem. Mandatory E-verify for example. If Trump was smart he wouldnt go on about a useless wall, he would discuss blimps and long duration UAV systems to monitor the wall. Ultra high resolution cameras, etc. A wall is expensive, and inefficient. And he would talk about them specifically instead of generally.

Exactly, and now we have thousands of Central Americans marching towards our border. The situation isn't getting any better either.

No? Not when it’s an actual straw-man fallacy.
