What was your point then? I am addressing the extremely high cost estimates of logistically building trump's wall to nowhere.

Just out of curiosity, as I genuinely don’t know - are any states other than Missouri using Everify?

Edited to add that I answered my own question. 20 states are using it. Neither California nor New York are on the list however, so there goes the idea that top Democratic states are leading by example.

Steel slats are now the tall glass impenetrable solar powered wall?

There are some nice pics online showing folks climbing right up those steel slats? How are steel slats going to stop a tunnel? An airline? Truckers? Trains?

You do know Mexicans can just come into the USA and back each day - numerous times if they like. Americans can do the same. Just walk, bike or drive over. Take a bus or a plane.

This is why E-Verify is YOUR answer...you just don't know it yet. When given the choice between a simple solution that works and a complicated one that will never happen and never work, a smart person takes the former.

Do you have any idea how much 5.7 billion is?

It would hire 2,000 border patrol agents for 50 years that would be far more effective than a wall any fool with a ladder could climb over.

So let me ask you a couple of questions. Can you give us examples of illegal aliens raping our country and in what ways every way takes? Got any cites of the drug cartels walking over the border that a wall would solve?

And ya know. If the terrorists are undetected, how do you know that they are there?

There are a few - but Texas being Deep Red Forever and with the Longest Border and massive amounts of undoc workers is the "first and best case" to implement it. We don't have these problems in New England (in general), so common sense says to attack the problem where it occurs.

Heck, if one wants to round up undoc workers, start with Trump and other Construction Workers in SE Florida. Thousands working on those big buildings...but that will never happen because the "right people" are profiting.

Looks like mostly the Southern Block - Texas and Florida, both run 100% by Republicans, seem to stand out as large population centers that could use to be "examples" of how to do things right.

FYI, there is no firm estimate of the cost of the wall but studies have shown it far exceeds 5 billion! One would think that trump, the self proclaimed builder, would have firm numbers of costs based on all scenarios and logistics.

"Polly wanna a cracker"? Squawk, squawk. There was no promise/plan to have Mexico pay for it back in 2006 when the wall was approved by congress. No, it was to be the taxpayer to fund it. Where was the b*tching and moaning back then by you guys? Trump asked Mexico to pay for at least but they refused. Here's the back plan down the road. In the meantime we need the funds to get it started.

The $5 billion is to get it started. Try to keep up! We are all aware that the estimates to complete it are around $25 billion but it's well worth it.
