It must be a bi***, going through life, thinking everyone is corrupt and out to get you. Pretty sad when people think every person who goes to Washington is there to line their pockets.
Maybe, just maybe, some of them actually care about America and Americans, and want to make things better. I guess I am just a glass half full kind of guy, and I tend to think some humans actually have good motives and morals.
Those good people in politics are taking charge again and the return to sanity in government is going to shift into high gear after January 3rd.
Why is it necessary for the government to protect people from themselves? People are free to make their own choices, if they choose not to read fine prints and get scammed that's their right to do so.

Don, you have beautifully encapsulated what I think is the basic Republican mindset these days. That is, after all, Trump's basic refrain - that everyone, everywhere, is out to get us, out to take advantage of us, out to hoodwink us. OF course, in his case it's projection - because he really does have a history of doing that to people.
LOL. Based on WHAT? Can you cite any serious investigation, any research, to back that up?

Good point. Could it maybe be that in general wealthy suburbs tend to always surround big cities? Could it be because the government is one of the largest - or the largest - in the country? Could it be because Government often tries to attract the best and brightest? (Not Trump, of course, but "real" presidents.) Could it be because a lot of financiers gravitate there? Not much different from New York City.

I agree. Let predatory lending reign supreme. Could care a less if white trash in a trailer park gets scammed.
Trump will protect them, lol.
