And anything in the millions is going to be rather a drop in the bucket, compared to the multi-billions needed to construct this boondoggle.
Govt can accept gifts, but when it comes with strings attached like this, it has to go through special Congressional approval. The reason is obviois enough: you don't want money from who knows what kind of private sources coming in to influence policies of government agencies.

In my view, the wall is a distraction from the bigger number.

It's not a success until it's applied to it's stated purpose.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it somehow ends up in Trumps pocket. The good news that at $10 million a mile it will take a VERY long time, by then it will be forgotten.

I don’t know one Trump supporter (that voted for Trump) who truly believed México was going to “directly” pay a wall, Lol 😂.

I doubt it. I'm sure there's a few Trump supporters that don't think he's a lair even if the vast majority do.

The good news...?
Why are you against border security?
That seems a bit odd. Care to explain?

Not against it I think having more border agents is the key it means jobs for Americans, sure some will always get in even with a wall. But having more border agents there would help in would put money in the pockets of Americans who need to work. The wall is a waste of money.

This is the product of the resistance movement that the democrats put in place. They rather have drugs coming over the border killing over 70,000 Americans a year . The democrats rather have illegals collecting food stamps which pushes up food prices, free medical coverage which pushes up the costs of all Americans health insurance and out of pocket costs, and give illegals free housing which pushes up the cost of renting.. it is supply and demand that pushes up prices.

Now those same illegals who get free lunches for their children , and free schooling pushes up homeowners taxes as well as rent prices because the schools are funded by the homeowner and renters paying . Renters have to pay more because when property taxes go up that extra cost to teach illegals is passed on to the renters .

So the democrats are stupid. They fight for the rights of the illegals daily as they have to pay more for services, car insurance costs because many illegals do not have car insurance and the insurance companies have to pay. The ramifications of illegals here is staggering and bleeding Americans of their paychecks. Meanwhile the illegals get jobs and also collect every known giveaway .. illegals paychecks don't go to heat their house, or buy a phone, or get medical insurance or pay rent. No, their paycheck buys a fancy vehicle , entertainment money, and they have a nice savings account in their home country . This is why they come by the droves.. millions of them.
