What do you think people care more about? The wall, or Mexico paying for it?
The majority of the country don't care about the wall. It's only his supporters, who are in the minority. So good luck getting our tax dollars to pay for it. Trump is in a real predicament. Does he listen to Rush, Hannity and Coulter or does he listen to the majority of our country which he is supposed to represent
There is zero doubt in my mind that were you to get everyone participating in this thread to gather in one room to discuss it person, a very calm, collected, meaningful conversation would take place. People have completely lost all civility when speaking to others online. The internet makes cocky badasses of us all.
It's not just online, though. Hate crimes are skyrocketing. The news is filled with endless divisive commentary. Families and friends are severing ties over political views. Sure, it's a lot harder to tell to someone's face the things people say online, but it's really not much better out there in the real world these days. People are out of their minds.
The caravan is an organized attempt to try to force a change in American immigration policy.
5000+ people don't just suddenly decide to walk thousands of miles to America for no reason.
And if it was really just a bunch of doe eyed women and children seeking asylum, they could have asked for asylum in Mexico. (Some did...most didn't).
You didn't address what I'm saying. It doesn't matter what you think their motivation was, or if someone was behind it. You're saying that they will bring America to its knees. How? You see an America that is weak. You see an America that's unable to solve any of these problems. You see an America that is full of cowards. Maybe you're right. In which case, I'm sure not missing anything not being there.

Many Americans don't agree with Trump's strategy. There was an article in the Washington Post about it on December 11th, but I couldn't cut and paste it. It was entitled "Americans, Reality Generally Disagree With Trump's Strategy on Border Wall Funding.

The wall wil not be built with our tax dollars. Trump’s campaign promise was that Mexico would pay. Republicans didn’t give him the money when they controlled all branches. And democrats won’t taking over won’t either
This is on Trump. When he gets all the money for the wall from Mexico then he can build his wall.
He will find a way to siphon it off to his family business...
