Every Republican president will be declared "illegitimate" at some point. To this date they don't accept the result of the 2000 election. And of course, every Republican president is either demented or on the verge of becoming one. Reagan comes to mind.
LOL@ people who think "the Russians" affected the outcome of the elections.
Just can't accept responsibility, ever. And even with all the voter fraud from the millions of illegals , it still didn't help them. Which is of course, unfathomable. "How can we not win with millions of fraudulent votes? I should be 20 points ahead!"
Clearly he is the de facto president. He is the legally elected president.
However he accomplished this by lying to his own base of supporters and declaring his critics to be enemies. Not an auspicious start.
Dean is correct that Individual 1 does not share common American values. Most Americans can not relate to him and disagree with him at a very fundamental level.
Congress needs to take back some of it's constitutional responsibility that has agglomerated onto the imperial presidency over the last few generations. Holding so much undeserved power in the person of the president is dangerous.
I think that we have reached a turning point in American history. After Trump leaves the white house there will be a raft of new anti-corruption legislation and campaign finance legislation. Individual 1 has exposed weaknesses in how we choose our elected officials we can no longer ignore.
We also need to get dark money out of politics, and we need presidential candidates to go through a thorough vetting, including all of their personal finances and legal history records, and each candidate should know in advance that this information will be published for all to see and stored permanently in the National Archives.
Superiority Complex.
No matter what you say, they don't have to argue about it. They have millions already to brainwashed, and don't need to show their followers they can be destroyed so easy, with the truth.
Thus you are silence and don't matter.
Not true.
Please. Check with ALL Presidential Historians.
Trump is rated dead last....and part of that is his attitude.
There has never been anyone even close. Not even in the same ballpark. I can't think of one to even compare to him.
if you have some information that I haven't gleamed from reading 10's of thousand of pages of history - or that POTUS scholars and historians don't have - please enlighten us with your pics...
Merry Christmas....to all.
True historians would wait until the president is part of history. Rating them in the midst of their first term is ignorant.
And since you've made the claim, and insist on proof, please show yours that show the ratings of those "scholars and historians". I'll wait.....
Don't let that scream fool you! Dr. Howard Dean is a very intelligent guy. I guess Dean was saying "Let's elect a legitimate President in 2020 and take our country back."
He was appointed by the Electoral College, an archaic institution that makes a mockery of the democratic process.
OTOH, people were forced to choose between two terrible candidates and most ended up not voting at all.
^This.
If he ran for any other office in America, from dog catcher to Senator, he would have lost. Fact. He won on a technical, not by consensus. Same thing applies to approval ratings. A 40% approval rating does not mean the majority of people believe he's doing a good job. That math only works here on C-D.
I confess I didn't even bother to watch the video because it doesn't really matter. It's like riding a car that is about to crash and questioning whether the driver has a driver's license. Does it even matter at that point? He's still at the wheel.
