I don't think anyone seriously says walls don't work. But Mexico was going to pay for this wall. Unless you are willing to admit that Trump and all Trump supporters like yourself are liars, then we are going to hold you guys to this chant.

Sorry but everyone knows that Trump owns this shutdown. He claimed it, made a big deal about owning it and even promised not to blame Dems. This shutdown is his and his alone.

Trump owns the shutdown, but that's a good thing, because Schumer owned (albeit reluctantly) the previous shutdown and Democrats then won the House.
And in 2013 we saw Republicans blamed for the shutdown, and they won the 2014 midterms.
I think Trump believes the Democrats will look like donkeys for shutting down the government over something they had previously approved, and even sponsored.
I think he's right. And I expect his approval ratings to rise above the Rasmussen measured 49% among likely voters.
Meanwhile the privately funded border wall effort has collected nearly $17 million.
It's posts like this that make me realize that many Trumpists will continue their mindless support of him, no matter how far down he sinks. They don't seem to have anything else to sustain themselves and they're getting more desperate, as time goes by.
