I really, really, really hate to say it, but without hearing both sides of the conversation, this seems rather petty. It's possible that the child expressed doubts himself, and that Trump was merely responding to them. It would not be unusual for a child that age to be wondering, especially if some of their friends have also expressed doubts.

Trump didn't handle the call with the grace of the man who wrote "Yes, Virginia...," but he didn't say there is no Santa, either.

Huh. Me, defending Trump. This is, indeed, a Christmas miracle, although it doesn't feel very merry. Don't make me do it again, and please, please, don't leave any beautiful clean coal in my stocking.

The overwhelming majority of the anti-Trump stories that are posted here are petty and would have been laughed off during the last administration but today’s media and TDS sufferers can’t pass up even the smallest opportunity to bash the President. Some other leftist will add this story to the list of Trump’s “lies” because he didn’t tell the kid that Santa wasn’t real. These people are pathetic.

This is the main complaint Trump supporters have with the media -- bias. They no longer report news, only opinion, commentary and propaganda.

Check out NewsMax. They have writers from all sides of the political spectrum, i.e. Michael Reagan and Fareed Zakaria as well as stories about things in the world other than Trump!
