Germany strikes down child marriage and defers to sharia law. We on the right see this crap coming and the left is oblivious to how dangerous Islam is.

If the so called Right in the US were concerned with child marriages, they might consider focusing on US Laws.

In the US, there is no Federal Minimum Age for marriage. Rather, it is left to the states. 18 states have no Minimum, no different than long time US ally, Saudi Arabia. The difference is, the lack of laws in some states have nothing to do with Sharia Law.

Other than Delaware and NJ, no state forbids a minor from marrying under certain circumstances, parental consent, court approval, pregnancy or a combo.

As lates as 2001, 10 year old girls were married in Tennessee.

They depend on their readers to simply read the headlines and react without reading the article or implementing any critical thinking skills.

There is a strong tendency for people to believe anything when it seems to validate their perceptions.

There is a tendency for people to buy into polls, when the outcomes validate their perceptions and dismiss polls that are contrary.

And sometimes people become online trolls as a hobby or for attention.

Or the loons who believed Trump would actually get Mexico to pay for a wall or have a 'far better than the ACA' plan in place soon after taking office.

Google is your friend. Actually three 10 year old girls were married in Tennessee in 2001.

We don’t tend to use footnotes here.

News article from a local Tennessee newspaper, February 2018.

Link. https://www.tennessean.com/story/new...ole/375236002/

This article confirms that the State Legislature is trying to make the minimum age for marriage in that state....14, a move upwards from the " no lower age limit " that is presently the law. A State court Judge can, at this time, approve a marriage of a female of ANY AGE.

SO YES a 10 year old female CAN be married in Tennessee.

That's as backwoods dumb as I have ever heard of....
