Because of Obama or Trump?

This is a multiple choice poll children. Feel free to choose one or all.

A reasoned response to your choice(s) would be welcomed.

Mine is Trump and smart investors. I have openly stated that this would be a huge fire sale and that you should have invested in this downturn. Nearly 1 TRILLION in retail sales in less than 2 months. A staggering record because of our strong economy.

Sorry if that flew over your heads.

The 401k isn't looking as bad as it did 3 days ago, eh? Oh wait, you sold out to cut your losses? OOPS, sucks to be you.

Kind of stupid to attribute it to either. Cons have been jizzing themselves over Trump when stocks go up and then busy blaming it on the "Blue Wave" when they tank. N
So now they're rising in spite of that blue wave? What nonsense.

The intelligent answer: in the near term attributing stock performance on an individual day basis to any politician is foolish as it is impossible. No smart person does this. You can only make this attribution over a multi-year time length.

Trump isn't a conservative and neither is his base. To say otherwise is nonsense. Anything to deflect from the fact that your big government policies that you love, are failures.

But why listen to you when you've been wrong often? Partisan glasses does that.

Listen to the ones who've been correct about the economy. Interest rates are rising, the artificial growth will stop. But yes, one day is meaningless.

^Exactly.

Trump fans don’t learn. At the next downturn, they’ll blame it on the blue wave. Then take credit for the next increase. Then blame the blue wave. Then take credit...

It’s like Trump fans are incapable of seeing their own hypocrisy.

A one day rise or fall means nothing....Right now the market is as unstable as your white house whatever the reasons....Blame who or what you want.

Reminds me of the volatility before the last big crash.

Do people realize how ridiculous they sound? Biggest ever drop on Xmas Eve? It's because the Dems won the house. Biggest single day point gain? Trump MAGA!!

You do realize that it was liberals who gleefully gloated about the stock market drop in an effort to attack Trump right?

Or are you only aware of hypocrites who don't vote like you?

Just as ridiculous is Obama taking credit for the two year runup of stock prices --- after he was out of office.
