Wait..were we negotiating with Iraq for confirmed troop withdrawl? As far as I and the rest of the world knew, there were no plans to remove troops from Iraq..so why is Iraq suddenly outraged over the status Quo?

Can someone shed some light on this?

We are in a position we’re unless we stay in Syria forever the Kurds are in danger.

The US always uses the Kurds, but we have never been their ally. Kissinger knew that Saddam was going to slaughter them and still told the Shah he would let it happen BEFORE we publicly backed them.

It can be Trump or some other president, we have lossed in Syria and leaving now or in ten years won’t change anything. The best thing to do is to use diplomatic means to save the kurds, but that would require our government carrying for them at all.

Diplomatic means to save the Kurds. And who would be in charge of that? Mike ("it's a mean nasty world") Pompeo?

It won’t happen, like I said.

The Kurds will look to Russia and Assad to protect them (someone they already work with). Turkey is our NATO ally who we sell billions of arms to.

We don’t care about the Kurds, our media elites are just using them as an excuse. We were told by them that we are there just to fight ISIS, now the establishment is mad because we can’t counter Iran.

Assad is a much more reliable ally for the Kurds than the US Turkey game: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nat...me-change/amp/

"Parliament must clearly and urgently express its view about the ongoing American violations of Iraqi sovereignty," said Salam al-Shimiri, a lawmaker loyal to the populist cleric Moqtada al-Sadr.
So this is what we get afforter losing 5000 lives in that godforsaken land. Funny, when ISIS were at the gates of Baghdad, they were begging us to go back in. Next time I say call your buddies in Tehran who are already taking credit for beating back ISIS. Trump insticts are always right.

Didn't you once say you were "born" in the US? You lied, didn't you? Even public schools aren't this bad here.

We have no obligations to inform Iraq of our specific military movements, such as the commander in chief of our armed forces visiting our armed forces. Do we inform them when Joe Smith returns home after his term and Bob Johnson arrives to take his place?
Wow, the USA is there currently by Iraq's invitation, and not as an occupying power. You bet when a head of state enters a country, that country should be well aware of it, and exhibit common courtesies. Imagine if the leader from Venezuela decided to land in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and talk to ex-patriates there, with out permission from the USA?

Nobody wants to "slaughter" the Kurds. They stay where they are and nobody gets hurt.

If Venezuela just saved America from annihilation, I might dispense with formalities if their president wants to visit his troops here.
