It's about time!

Quote:
Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she wouldn't rule out President Trump being indicted while in office, describing the topic as "an open discussion."

During an exclusive interview with TODAY's Savannah Guthrie, the House Democratic leader said it's possible that special counsel Robert Mueller could seek an indictment against the sitting president, despite Justice Department guidelines against such action.

"I think that that is an open discussion. I think that is an open discussion in terms of the law," Pelosi said, on the eve of reclaiming her former title as speaker of the House. She will become the first lawmaker in recent history to hold that office twice when the 116th Congress convenes Thursday.

Nancy Pelosi doesn't know what the day of the week is or the year for that matter. So there's that.

Dems need to be careful here. I'd like to see Trump be removed from office as much as the next honest American, but they need to take it slow and get it right.

Also, Democrats have to remember, IF Trump is still in office come 2020, he's probably going to lose the election. So if Dems want to go through with this, they'd better make sure they can get Pence out, too. Because you don't want Pence to be president for very long, he'd be a lot worse than Trump. Pence is a REAL ultra-right conservative, not pretending to be a conservative like Trump is doing.

If an impeachment process or indictments would be dragged out for more than a year (which they probably would), it might not be worth it. Just let Trump continue to embarrass himself and us, along with the looming recession that is coming probably late 2019, and let Trump just get his butt kicked in November 2020 than impeach him.

As long as her evidence is unimpeachable ... I say go for it.

She didn't say she would impeach him either. She said we should not impeach someone for political reasons and we should not run away from impeachment for political reasons either. Then she said we have to wait for the Mueller report.

No, the (D)'s dream scenario. "Liberals" want a valid liberal alternative to Trump.
