Have to say the kiss of the photo does not bother me.
This said, the iconic photo is totally original. The sailor and the nurse did not even know each other, they were celebrating the end of the war, and a victory.
These two sailors are sweet, maybe they wanted some attention and they did indeed get it. Nothing really newsworthy.
Did you read the article? this is ceremonial thing where one couple is awarded the first kiss everytime the ships docks, and this couple won!
This thread is exactly the reason why my husband and I don't show PDA at all. We've been together for 6 years, which is a lot longer than a lot of straight couples we know. We absolutely don't want to draw any attention or appear on the 6 ocklock news. Too many straight homophobic people with snowflake attitude about this.
Many are open-minded about having homos do what they like in the privacy of their own dwellings. That said this was purposeful by publicly imitating iconic heteros in the same fashion. Many people find it repulsive and disgusting to see.
But I guess only liberals/leftists must be protected from things that "trigger them".
This was likely an activist stunt just to stir the pot and try to put unnatural homo affection in public by imitating natural hetero affection.
The homo activists are no longer satisfied with the ability to live as they choose, and now demand public acceptance of their deviant behavior.
As is with liberals malcontent natures, they will push the homo and tranny stuff too far, and there will be a backlash over it. Heck the latest acronym for the all the sexual deviancy is now LGBTIQQCAPGNGFNBA.
Sadly, I am not joking.
`
its 2 people kissing in public, being able to do so is simply equality, not special treatment or "asking for acceptance"
You dont have to like it, but your outrage is noted.
The great thing about the original was that they didn’t know each other. Oh and two dudes sucking face is gross.
Yeah, that's the bottom line. Most agree that men should be allowed to kiss each other but hardly anyone wants to see it.
