No he wants Dems to cave and give him $5 billion for a wall in order to avoid tens of billions of dollars damage to our economy. However, Trump seems to have forgotten that Dems hate America and relish the thought of damaging it.

Mueller didn't make up the criminal activity -- he discovered it and acted upon it.

The fact it may have implicated Trump is on Trump/Manafort -- not on pursuing justice/criminal activity.

Don't get bogged down in the details. I think you understand the principle of leverage, of causing pain in one area to encourage action in another.

Lol. Hyperbolic much? You must watch lot of Fox News. Let me break it down into the simplest terms possible for your edification (learnding):

Party that controls the presidency: Republican.
Party that controls the legislature: Republican.
Party that has control to fund the wall: Republican.

Sorry I don’t have crayons to write in.

That's a shame because clearly that is what you are used to writing with. Maybe if you behave you'll get some for your birthday.

Let him shut it down. It would be worth hearing the Trump supporters try and explain away the estimated $1B/day impact on trade and a string of 1000 point drops in the stock market.

His ideals that got him into 4 bankruptcies. When will people learn, he will take this country and you down with him to get what he wants. Wow, what a guy. I just hope we learn lessons here.

The Republican Senate can change the rules for majority rule at any time.

"Dems hate America and relish the thought of damaging it."

What was that about crayons? As if this is a mature comment?

Not sure if we can equate Democrats with Liberals, but the two terms are often used interchangeably in this forum. Some other nitwit also made the claim that Liberalism is a mental disorder...

Of course there really isn't any support for these sorts of assertions if we're not simply lodging childish insults at those who don't share the same point of view. This instead is a more typical description of what Liberalism is...

"Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on liberty and equality. Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but they generally support civil rights, democracy, secularism, gender equality, racial equality, internationalism, freedom of speech, freedom of the press and freedom of religion."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberalism

I won't go the Trump/insulting way of suggesting those who ARE NOT liberal have a mental disorder, or that Trump supporters are out to ruin all that America SHOULD stand for, but no doubt they are awfully confused about a good many things if not wrong altogether. At a minimum the lack of understanding about what it means to be a liberal is profound, as forever evidenced by hair-brained comments expressed in this forum.

I'm so fortunate to have traded comments with the only person in America that won't take a substantial economic hit should the border be closed. Lucky me!
