Nunes won't have very much opportunity to drive liberals crazy after January 3. He won't be seated on the committee any more.
I'm sure though that he'll still do his best to try to cover up the dirt that will be exposed in the sandbox. There's always a cat who covers the other cat's poop over in every sand box. Nunes will stay real busy scratching.
Hes a ranking member of the Joint Intelligence Committee, he's got plenty opportunities and even more dirt on the Swamp already.
He'll keep driving ignorant liberals crazy while representing the people who elected him, just like he's doing now.
Lol...not exactly. He’ll be the ranking right winger on the committee, but he’ll have about as much power as the ranking left winger had when Nunes was chair....none.
He won’t be driving anyone crazy. He’ll probably go crazy himself at the idea that he’s about as important as every other backbencher. His only saving grace is that being from California’s Central Valley, the Democrats won’t mind giving him his huge share of pork products to take home to his district...a good thing since his important (to him) constituents are right wing San Wock Valley farmers that love their pork.
That said, his name won’t be ringing any bells for a long time.
I mean, he seemed to be working hard to shield Trump.
Mueller’s investigators have spent months building an increasingly sweeping case about Russian meddling in the 2016 elections, implicating and date. But under the chairmanship of the Republican indicting several of Trump’s closest associates to Devin Nunes of California, the House Intelligence Committee — which has a clear constitutional authority to conduct some of the same investigatory work as Mueller — produced a report that breezily concluded that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government and that, contrary to the official consensus of the American intelligence community, the Russian government was not even seeking to help elect Trump. Committee Democrats said they were shut out of the drafting process and publicly condemned the report...
Nunes’s investigation may not have produced much, but under his leadership, the committee did conduct hundreds of hours of interviews: with Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, Roger Stone and other key figures in the Russia matter. On Nunes’s orders, almost all the transcripts have remained in the sole possession of the committee, which has, among other things, kept them out of the hands of Mueller’s investigators. Schiff plans to publicly release the remaining transcripts when the new Congress convenes in January.
I hope Nunes gets investigated over his midnight run to the white house. The guy is dirty.
