I believe there is a gate around the perimeter. Either way, the White House enjoys far greater security than our border. The place is never left unguarded. Even with all the security, a wacko or two occasionally breeches security and makes it close to the door, or even inside, as happened years ago when Obama was president.

Oh, Trump will get his wall alright, in fact 3 of them and the 4th will be bars. Hope they at least give him a gold plated toilet in that 6 x 8 cell, after all, a man has to maintain his social status, ya know.
