Soo if someone beats you up and steals your gun from your unconscious body and then they go on to use the gun to rob a convenience store YOU are liable for that?
^ not possible.
The guy or gal would use their gun to defend themselves, no?
Our state attorney general Bob Ferguson, who will likely be our next governor, has outlined an ambitious new follow up to the new law. As I pointed out on CD, the new law does not touch the issue of the high magazine clips. There currently is no limit whatsoever on clips. You could have an AR15 with 1000 clips in it if you wanted. Presumably you would have to be a combo of Shaq and Arnold S. to even pick it up, but there would be no legal impediment.
It’s a term that someone that has ZERO knowledge of firearms uses, yet then starts (and contributes to) completely stupid threads and posts about said firearms

Gen. Ferguson would change that to 10 per weapon. That is still way too much, but it's better than nothing. He also wants to ban assault-style weapons, with a revised definition. The new law we just passed does not ban them, it just puts restrictions on sales.
Finally he wishes to ban 'ghost guns.' These are basically a terrorist's dream.
Unless a AR-15 is belt fed, there is no way 1000 rounds of ammo can be in the same magazine.
Agreed, to carry 30 + 30 round loaded magazines would be a allot of weight to carry.
Ghost Guns are pretty much worthless, the level of structure and stability of the plastic is no where at the level of what a company like Smith and Wesson or Glock can make in a polymer framed gun. The biggest part of the gun, that need the largest part of strength is the slide and barrel. Which are metal by the way. A plastic gun with a plastic barrel, will most likely blowup in one or few uses.
Plastic is most cases is just not able to handle the pressures that a handgun round will put out, let alone a rife.
Does anyone know if any WA sheriffs in these conservative parts of the state have pledged to do like many in CO did and not to enforce these bad laws that were passed by the urban areas that control the state's politics?
The chief of police in Republic has instructed his officers not to enforce the law, and this letter from the Spokane County prosecuting attorney to AG Bob Ferguson stating:
Quote:
Contrary to your normal duty to defend laws of the state of Washington, since this law is void it is your duty to advise Washington citizens it is invalid and does not need to be obeyed. You should also advise all law enforcement agencies in the state that it should not be enforced.
