Maybe a young entrepreneur will call up Miami and offer to privatize the work needed done to have the gate remain open?

I also wonder what method of death Uncle Sam would choose to eliminate such an individual.

You can't ask them to work forever without pay.

"Miami International Airport is closing a terminal this weekend because security screeners have been calling in sick at twice the airport's normal rate as the federal government shutdown stretches toward a fourth week.

Chin said Terminal G will close at 1 p.m. Saturday, reopen for flights Sunday morning and close again at 1 p.m. that day. The terminal serves United Airlines along with smaller carriers. Its closure means restaurants and shops that depend on departing flights also will close."
Government giveith... Government can certainly takeith it away.

If it were all run by the people like it is suppose to be, we would not be held hostage by a government of those that consented to this crap. Who created the "continuing resolution" instead of creating a Constitutional budget every year?

Your state might pay, others don't either. California went a while giving their employees IOUs for a while in the past

They've been putting out bills all week to open up the government. Mitch McConnell is the one not bringing them before the Senate. Talk to him.

You can't get government out of "it all." You gonna grow all your own food? Homeschool or your kids and grandkids? Drive a horse and buggy? What?

Ahh, I see, it's congress that is keeping them from being paid. They can be paid anytime Congress wants to. What's wrong Dems? Can't get a bill together that allows essentials to be paid? That should be a permanent law BTW.

They are playing games. They need to put out a bill that pays the essentials only and it would pass. They won't though because they want to play politics using the workers as pawns. All they need to do is pass an appropriations bill to fund the essentials pay.

They are putting out bills that will pay these workers.

None of them get to the Senate floor because Trump owns McConnell, and none of them contain money for Trump's vanity wall.

Today is payday.

Nearly a million of our neighbors won't be getting a paycheck.

Let the good times roll, MAGAts.
