Please cite your source for your claim in this thread's title. When and where did Nancy Pelosi claim that she will not support opening up the government unless Trump resigns?

Thanks for providing a quotation of her stating this and its source. If you cannot do this, don't you think you should change the title of this thread so that you won't be accusing of lying?

And still he couldn't get it done. Why hasn't he been screaming about it the past two years? Oh sure, at his rallies, he likes to throw out buzz words like "wall," but it's all for show. Majority of Americans don't want a so-called "wall," though I know no one, Dem or Rep who doesn't want greater border security. But the Dems and Reps need to come together to reform immigration once and for all so we can stop all this foolishness.

Projection is strong in this one...

Period.
Dems and Reps had a bill several weeks before the shutdown that Trump was going to sign. Why didn't he? Also, he said he's the one who would be the proud owner of the shutdown. So let him. Period.

Dictator? You must mean McConnell who refuses to bring the House bills to reopen government into the Senate for a vote.

Because it is his issue and the constitution gives a near tie to the president. For congress or professional politicians to have their way they need to craft a veto proof bill. 50% + 1 is not good enough when the chief executive disagrees. It is the way the system was designed.

There. I fixed it for ya
But Trump said he would proudly own it. So let him. Dems and Reps passed a bill several weeks before the shutdown that Trump was supposed to sign but didn't. It's on him. He's the one who walked away.
