Reassuring Trump 2020 becomes a reality.
You actually believe the president is going to win in 2020, if this shut down drags on? His poll numbers are already taking a dip from this, and most American don't support the walls. Plus, the tape of him saying he will proudly own the shut down, will be played a 1000 times leading up to 2020 elections.

Conservatives rely on facts, Liberals rely on feelings to settle arguments..

Conservatives hate what people do, liberals hate who people are...

Of course she is to the hard core right, this is no surprise how you feel about her. Tell us something we don't know.

Well I'm a Dem and I hate what Trump does, and I rely on the fact that Trump said more than a 1000 times Mexico was going to pay for the wall.

The wall is Trumps Waterloo. He told a big lie and he is being held to account for it. Too bad his father isn't around to give him five billion dollars so he can have his wall. The Dems are doing a big favor for the Republicans by making Trump deal with reality. Pelosi is not Mexico.

That is an incredibly simplistic view.

I suspect you will discount my words, as I am, in your eyes, nothing but a mentally disordered liberal, but I challenge you to consider them anyway.

Most, perhaps all, politicians come armed with at least a few facts, and use those facts to play on people's emotions. Most, perhaps all, voters react to that. The only thing in question is which facts, which emotions.

You undoubtedly have a long list of examples of liberals relying on their feelings, but do you not see how conservatives do the very same thing? Trump's wall is his signature issue because it evokes an emotional response. If it didn't, he would have found another hill to die on. Same with Reagan's "welfare queens." He used that because it made people mad.

People who make their decisions completely without feelings are rare as unicorns. If you can find me more than a handful, I will be very impressed, indeed.

As for your second little gem, well, it's just plain wrong. Generalizations like that usually are.

Speaking of facts, we have yet to see even a shred of evidence that OP's claim is true.

If the bill passes both houses, McConnell can put a bill on Trump’s desk. If Trump doesn’t sign it, it will become law without his signature in 30 days. If Trump vetoes the Bill, it takes 2/3 majority in each branch to override the veto.

McConnell is a jerk. I hope Kentuckians have enough sense to get rid of him in 2020.
