Seems like a pretty good deal to me.
If Trump were smart, he would’ve taken the $25B that was on the table in exchange for DACA back in February. He’s been bidding against himself. If the trend continues, the Democrats might get DACA for free. And with some reverse psychology, they might get Trump to insist that $5.7B be allocated to Spanish immersion programs in public schools.

Trump only has one thing to compromise with on his end.... And that's taking less money than he was originally asking for.

But no matter how much the final number is, it has to be allocated towards the wall or some type of barriers.
Democrats as of yet have not been willing to do that.

Correct-Dems must compromise if they want govt reopened in full.. That is all they need to do, although my hunch is they could get a deal funding 60% the WH request.

Pathetic!
The best negotiator is one who gives no clue as to what he will accept.

If I owned land on the border I would PAY to have the wall built.
And what are they going to "seize" - the fence line?!

This is the camp I'm in. I also do want a border wall, but I really want this to happen - people to become aware that "Hey, waitaminute....we've been doing just fine without all of these non essentials....maybe we should keep it that way."

I am with you 100%. We have more government than we need.
