Oh my, if Mueller exposes 40 years of Trump crimes it will be the mother of all bombshells. All those years of hidden tax returns hiding tax fraud that was probably worse than what Manafort got convicted for. All those years of shady real estate deals with Russians lurking about. Plus obstruction of justice and FEC violations paying hush money to porn stars.

And Mueller's report won't be an anonymous op-ed: he will sign his name under it. And it'll be backed up with reams of data and evidence.

Trump is a lame duck. He will either resign or announce he won't run again in 2020. It's all but certain now.

One can dream, good luck with that.

BTW, you know a sitting President can't be indicted, right, you do know that right?

You do also know you can't impeach a President for something he did before they were elected, you know that right?

You're stuck with Trump for the next 6+ years, deal with it.

Wasn't Trump audited by the IRS year after year after year?

Paying hush money out of personal funds is not an FEC violation. I don't recall you complaining when Obama offered Jeremiah Wright $150K to keep quiet.

And if Mueller goes after 40 years of crimes then all he has done is prove Trump right: it has been a witch hunt all along.

If it happens, it does. Life goes on, the world still spins, and we will have Pence. Oh, and we will also have one , possibly two SCOTUS picks to take away from it.

If it does happen, I will be pissed, pissed that he should have never thrown his ring in the hat knowing his past could return and blow up.

That is , if it even happens.

Not necessarily. If you start with one crime and through that investigation discover another, there is nothing in statutes of any kind to say the new crime shouldn't be investigated as well. In fact, any decent prosecutor would say that there is an obligation to look into it. They will follow the trail, wherever it goes; that's their duty. Especially when you're talking about money, crimes may often be interlinked.

I don't know that any of this will happen with Trump, just saying...if it is the case and was uncovered, that is only good for this nation, not bad.

I would like to say "give it up" but I would just be wasting my time. SO you go right ahead and keep on believing what you want to believe. Then in late Dec or early Jan we will see how much of this is true and how much just wishful thinking.

Not necessary. Nixon got removed without an indictment, right?

False. That's not specified in Art 2 Section 4 of the Constitution.
