That's nice of you, and very pleasant sentiments. Although I think it's important to remember that we're all in this together, as opposed to pitting ourselves against one another.

I think so too. And politically active millennials should be encouraged. Everyone complained for so long that millennials don't do anything, are too entitled, want too many material things, etc.

So here comes a young engaged, albeit idealistic, person who is not interested in any of the negative stereotypes--and now she is mocked for being too engaged because they don't like her politics? This will be their planet, their country, and their problem in the future. They should care a lot.

Ortez is a politically engaged millennial and there should be many more of them, because they are now a bigger population than the boomers.

So the people praying for the return of the 50s are really screwed--it is not happening.

Civilization moves forward not backwards.

Love this. Don't like her politics. She's made enough gaffes that can be made fun of, then we move on....without having to dis this. Every college kid should have a fun memory like this. I seriously doubt that the majority of right/republican/conservatives agree with the statement made by the rwnj who posted this -- they've deleted it anyway.

Pick on her down the road, when she expands on her ridiculous tax proposal and socialist ideals.

An uninformed and biased OPINION devoid of real fact. Conservatives may have had and still do have values of morality, but that is not the what, how or why of conservatism. Perhaps the periphery of the left has allowed too many to see it that way, and only that way.

One of the many reasons I find it unacceptable to consider myself a true liberal or true conservative....too much misunderstanding on both sides.

Oh, really? Listen to Mike Pence for a while and you will get a glimpse of what "true Conservatives" think. Mike is lost in the 50's, and hates anyone and everyone who might be a little different than him.

Dear it seems that it might go completely over your head.

She campaigned as a hard core Bronx home girl. Toughed up on the hard times there.

Reality - She's a Westchester princess who grew up in one of the wealthiest counties in the USA and this video exposes it.

You guys want to cheer for this, that's your choice. We are laughing at the hypocrisy.

She won nearly 80% of the vote in her district and you think "she should not be in congress"?

Based on what?

I posted the video in the NYC forum a few months ago when the video only had 50,000 views after eight years. Somehow that thread was deleted.
