That's what I was wondering, According to Wikipedia, Tlaib's district, which includes parts of Detroit, is 56% black, 33% white, no mention of Palestinians or Muslims, the population's demographics might be outdated, since the figures on the site are a few years old.

Hyperbolic much?

Reality: there is a contingent in this country that believes that American citizens should be forced to express allegiance to a foreign country.
Several states have made it legal for force private citizens to basically swear that they won’t boycott Israel.

In what world is this acceptable?

“As Congress works to head off a partial federal government shutdown on Friday, one piece of legislation in the spotlight is the Israel Anti-Boycott Act, sponsored by Democratic Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland, and Ohio Republican Senator Rob Portrman. The bill would impose criminal and civil penalties on American firms that participate in boycotts in support of Palestinian rights.

“She was prepared to sign her contract renewal until she noticed one new, and extremely significant, addition: a certification she was required to sign pledging that she “does not currently boycott Israel,” that she “will not boycott Israel during the term of the contract,” and that she shall refrain from any action “that is intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with Israel, or with a person or entity doing business in Israeli or in an Israel-controlled territory.””

Injury to religious sentiment
173. If a person does any of the following, then the one is liable to one year's imprisonment:
(1) One publishes a publication that is liable to crudely offend the religious faith or sentiment of others;
(2) One voices in a public place and in the hearing of another person any word or sound that is liable to crudely offend the religious faith or sentiment of others.
That does seem to be what the OP and others want. And unfortunately, that train has already left the station.

Tlaib supports the pro-Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, about which I'm unfamiliar. She says:

As are her rights as an American.
There are many who want to deny her those rights.
As noted in my previous post, more than half of the states in this country have decided that Americans should not be allowed to support the BDS movement.

Is there really no way for a person to support the rights of both the Israelis and the Palestinians? This business of being accused of hating one side the moment you express concern for the other really stinks.

There are many black Muslims in Detroit and elsewhere in this country.
Quite a few are native born.
