The top three positions at the CIA are now filled by women for the first time in the agency’s history. This, after Cynthia Rapp was named the CIA’s top analyst.
From the Defense Department to the manufacturers that supply it, the military-industrial complex is largely in women's hands now.
Four of America's top five defense contractors, including Lockheed Martin and Boeing's defense wing, are headed by women, as are America's weapons-buying and nuclear oversight departments. And at all levels in national security, those women are changing how the traditionally male-dominated industry is run, Politico reports.
Within the past two years, women have come to run the Air Force and a number of other top defense sectors. That can largely be attributed to how the "national security community ... generally rewards high performers regardless of color or creed or gender," Politico notes. Another major contributor is the "steady growth" of women entering STEM fields, Politico says.
More like... the national security community wants you to think that. Installing women as human shields against criticism works well in the current year.
Nobody said Trump hated women. Sexists don't hate the other sex....they just have stereotypical views of what they can do.
He appoints women to positions he doesn't seem as critical. That's right -- I said he doesn't think the CIA is a critical post -- or he wants someone in there he thinks he can be the 'boss' of.
Looks to me like he just doesn't spend all his time kissing their ass and paying lip service to them like the Democrat Party does.
Google Suffragette and see how many of them were Republicans and what the Democrats tried to do in order to keep them not voting.

Was the CIA ever punished or held responsible for some of the illegal and criminal things they have done in the past? Why do we consider this to be a good credible agency to this day? they are anything but that if you look at their history!
Maybe Trump just isnt aware of what they did back in the 60s, 70s and 80s...involvement with drug running for profit, secret experiments on kids, inmates, patients, sometimes with consent, sometimes without, etc.
This agency should have been shut down decades ago.
