Don't even go there. She has more credibility than your beer guzzling frat boy Justice. He looked like a crying fool on the stand, lied his ass off, and only passed through because of a bunch of lily livered Republicans who wanted him there regardless of his background or ethics.

If they wanted the Boston Strangler to get on that Supreme Court, it was going to happen, regardless.

Missing Oral Arguments due to illness is fine ..... the Judge who can't hear the Oral Arguments needs to be Recused from the Case. That's not what they propose ..... she won't hear the Cases, but will still RULE on the cases.

Simple Question .... has ANYBODY ever heard of a High Profile Court Case (which Supreme Court Cases all are by definition) without a Judge being present who RULES on the case????

Of course not ..... she has to either RECUSE ...... OR ...... RESIGN.
Why would the public accept anything but one of these outcomes?
That would be similar to allowing the Dead Judge Scalia Rule on Court cases after he died.
When judges are basing their decisions on partisanship do the arguments really matter?

Hahaha! Talk about a crying fool!! Enjoy the next 30-40 years of Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and soon to be Justice Amy Coney Barrett!

Justice Roberts says “We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges, ...”

If that's true then there should be no worry for RBG to resign and for Trump to nominate her replacement.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...d09_story.html

The point is NOT ..... Ruth Bader Ginsburg should Resign
The point IS ...... she should be Recused for any Case she does not HEAR in person.

I ask again ... Has ANYBODY ever heard of a High Profile Case being heard without a Judge present who RULES on that case?? Of course not. It's NOT the place to set a precedent for a Judge not to be in the Court Room to hear a case they must RULE on. It should never happen.

Appears her time is coming to an end, however she certainly won’t step down until either death or a Democrat takes the presidency. If death does strike first how will the Democrats in the senate prevent McConnell from appointing a Trump nominee?

With the current makeup of the Senate, it appears that they won't be able to prevent it.

If she dies or steps down in 2020 then McConnell needs hold off the nomination until after the election. It happened to Obama's nomination of Garland in 2016.

My guess is McConnell will have a bit of revisionist history and allow the nomination in 2020.

No.

I really don't see our first female president, Ivanka Trump, appointing a liberal to the bench.

That ain't happening. The hapless community agitator lost the US Senate in 2014 due to his policies. It cost him the chance to seat a justice. Likewise, the hapless Democrats failed to take control of the US Senate in 2018. It will cost them again. If RGB goes before 2021, Trump will be the one nominating her replacement.
