I had my Sacramento house appraised on 12/15/2018 by a very nice middle eastern man who drove all the way from san jose. He appraised it at $480,000.00. My next door neighbor sold his house in julY 2018 for $485,000.00. I decided to go with a local lender instead who called out this cowboy from a farm community about 40 minutes north of sacramento to do a new appraisal ON 01/01/2019. Cletus appraised my house at $420,000.00. I dare you to find a house for sale in my upscale neighborhood for 420k. I just paid $450.00 to be reminded exactrky how systemic racism squeezes wealth from the black community. REDLINING IS REAL.

This didn't make sense.
What systematic racism? Where?
What's a 280k house doing next to a 480k or 420k house? Sometimes some sort of code prevents that.
Someone said 420k and another said 480k? Why is that a big deal except that 1 or both are off. It could be worth 450k. Your first post too, lol.
Why do you call yourself an indentured servant? Is you entire identity wrapped up in victimhood? I could easily choose the name "descendant of Holocaust victims," but my family didn't think like that. Despite unspeakable horrors, my grandparents - who lost their parents and siblings - focused on what it takes to move forward:
1. A determination to have children within marriage
2. Delayed gratification and sacrifice for higher education
So, I've said this before and I'll say it again: my grandparents arrived here with the clothes on their back and not even a high school diploma. Yet, one generation later, all their kids (my parents and aunts/uncles) all had college degrees. From dirt-poor immigrants in tenements (generation 1) to college-educated professionals with homes in nice suburbs (generation 2).
This constant fixation on what is owed you and how wronged your ancestors were isn't helping you - it's turning you into a bitter man. Just focus on what black people themselves can do to help themselves, encourage that, and you'll be much better off than demanding reparations or whatever.
If your grandparents didnt come here in chains, thjey had a head start my ancestors never had.
stop thinking your experience is everyone's experience.

No, they lived through their parents and siblings being murdered by Hitler. Not much of a head start.
Despite that - and dirt-poor with no education - they looked forward, demanded NOTHING of others, and raised children who became college-educated professionals.
(And I seriously doubt your grandparents came here in chains, either.)

"It's a cruel jest to say to a bootless man that he ought to lift himself up by his bootstraps. And many negroes, by the thousands and millions, have been left bootless...as the result of a society that deliberately made his color a stigma."

This guy Williams comes out of nowhere with such a big chip on his shoulder? I suspect he's an old poster with a new name.
I just found this bucket of steaming racism today while doing a GOOGLE search on "redlining" and just couldnt resist the opportunity to kick it over.
