That’s a question for both conservatives and liberals. I think it is fair to say that a wall/fence is important to most conservatives and that single payer healthcare is important to most liberals. In general, each side thinks the other side’s issue is way off base. So as a compromise, would you accept that trade off (we get both) to end this current standoff?

I'm not sure what one has to do with the other. Trump had his chance to get money for a border wall and he blew it.

no. i don't think single payer can work in this country. period. but if it does have a chance you HAVE TO get border security under control first. we are long way from that happening even with the wall.

Where does anyone get off suggesting something be done before that is addressed?
And for the record, neither govt healthcare or govt walls should be implemented.
