do you know basic math? obviously not.........even if the DEA and Border Patrol confiscate drugs coming in from Mexico from legal ports you can't say that 90% of all the drugs that enter here comes from legal ports without knowing the amount of all the drugs that come out of Mexico by all routes in a totality......DEA and Border Patrol can only account for the drugs they confiscate not the ones that got through.
if Mexico sends 1 million bananas through all their routes and the Border patrol and DEA confiscates 900,000 bananas at the legal entry ports then that 90%.........without knowing the total amount of drugs the Cartels sends to the U.S., you can't get to 90%.

DEA can only account for the drugs they confiscate and they do more confiscations at the legal port of entry because DUH! more security and dogs at the port.

We come across stashes out in the desert all the time. So we know they did the swap, we just don't know for sure what they are carrying. Sometimes we find parts of it, like drugs and gift cards used to launder money. So, we know they are doing it fairly regular but we don't know the volume.
But, make no mistake, it's coming across in volume.

The real question is how THIS many drugs are CONSISTENTLY coming in...if border patrol, DEA, etc were even doing half their job, there would be lulls and shortages in the drug supply, but instead, we have numerous cities and states with heroin epidemics...that means ALOT of dope is regularly reaching its destination.
I guess thats why so many cities and states have major heroin epidemics going on? Yeah, that border security is working great!

What you really need to do is go look up what is actually killing people, you might be surprised to find the culprit is a really a mix of things and one of the biggest is not the drugs, it is the hopelessness so many younger and OLDER Americans of ALL color creeds and views feel in our hyper competitive disposable nation.
I am no hippie dippie, just a realist who sees both the moral and fiscal advantages to treating my fellow Americans like humans instead of blaming them for not being "winners" in our winner takes all USA.
Stop worrying about scare stories and start pushing for real access to quality healthcare, low cost ed through all levels, long term security of tenure, defined pensions, balanced employment law/terms.
Over the last forty years we have been brainwashed into competing for the scraps corporate USA allows us to have. endless scare stories of "losing what we have" when they have already taken everything but the symbols ....
Trump had 2 years to fund and build the wall. Why is it suddenly an emergency now if it wasnt an emergency last year?
He's building a case so that he can call it a National Emergency and get his funding through that way. The Dems are holding up funding for the wall so in order to have it funded, it has to be an emergency.
The Fox New frenzy of fear-mongering has created paranoia propaganda. Do not trust the facts. Do not trust any media, government entities including law and drug enforcement, data polls, government research etc. No one is to be believed except Fox News and extreme right-wing media. They've lost their minds if they think people should believe Individual 1 and Hannity over the media and government entities. It's simple. They don't like facts. It doesn't fit their narrative or justifies their simple-minded rhetoric.
It's not an emergency. The only emergency is Individual 1's failed treasonous presidency. If there was a serious emergency, governors in border states would be all over the media, they are not.
